Video Conferencing

Introduction

eXact were approached by a Chambers to install several, tailored, video conferencing systems in their meeting rooms.

The Chambers had seen examples of the systems we installed at another Chambers and were impress with their flexibility and ease of use. The Chambers’ requirements were a fixed system in their seminar room and two mobile systems on trolleys. For the fixed system they wanted a system that could be used for standard video conferences but also for giving webinars which necessitated a two camera system.

Process

01

eXact surveyed the conference rooms (including the Seminar Room) and based on their sizes proposed two different trolley sytems – a one for larger rooms and one for smaller rooms.

02

For the Seminar Room a fixed system was proposed with a specialist microphone system to allow for different microphone types to be used for webinars (i.e. handheld etc).

03

eXact recommend Logitech video conferencing equipment and proposed a Rally Plus system in the seminar room, a MeetUp system on the trolley for the small meeting rooms and and Rally Bar system on the trolley for the larger rooms.

04

To complete the webinar experience in the Seminar Room eXact proposed for one of the mobile systems to be used at the back of the room to provide a way of seeing the virtual audience.

This trolley had a specialist tracking camera installed on it which allows for automatic tracking of, and focussing on, the presenter.(Cabling was installed at the back of the room to allow the tracking camera and screen to connect to the main system).

05

eXact partnered with a specialist company to source and install the wireless microphone system for the Seminar Room. (The Sennheiser system provides a lapel, gooseneck and handheld microphone).

06

eXact provided a control box with programable buttons to shorten sequences such as switching between video applications and switching between the Rally Plus audio and Sennheiser audio inputs.
